Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un durmiente de ferrocarril que consta de concreto tensado, que tiene un cuerpo de durmiente monolítico que se compone de dos cuerpos de apoyo que sostienen las piezas de sujeción para los carriles así como una parte central de interconexión, y que lleva un armado de elementos tensores, como alambrones, alambres o cordones de acero, teniendo la parte central una sección transversal menor que los cuerpos de apoyo y los elementos tensores se extienden a partir de una reunión en un plano vertical y/u horizontal en sentido fundamentalmente rectilíneo a los extremos de durmiente, y a modo de rayos partiendo del centro del durmiente, en tanto que están repartidos los extremos de los elementos tensores fundamentalmente de manera uniforme sobre las caras en sección transversal de los extremos de durmiente.
