Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a método para examinar un objeto, que comprende: establecer una representación de una imagen principal en la forma de un arreglo de elementos de señal, en donde cada elemento de señal en el arreglo está asociado con un punto respectivo o un grupo de puntos en la imagen principal y tiene un valor de señal seleccionado si todos los puntos en una matriz definida de puntos en los alrededores del punto respectivo o grupo de puntos en la imagen principal tiene un valor de brillo dentro de una gama respectiva de valores de brillo; explorar el objeto en dos dimensiones para proporcionar una multiplicidad de puntos del objeto que correspondan nominalmente a los puntos de la imagen principal, respectivos; probar el valor de brillo de cada uno de una pluralidad de puntos de objetos seleccionados para que corresponda con una gama respectiva de valores de brillo cuando un elemento de señal respectivo en el arreglo tiene el valor de señal seleccionada.
