Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un módulo de membrana enrollado en espiral que tiene una membrana semipermeable, la cual tiene una región central de permeado a alta presión, flanqueada en lados opuestos, por dos porciones de borde de presión inferior. Las porciones de borde facilitan la dispersión de y la recolección de, el fluído de alimentación que se está trazando y ayuda para obtener un flujo más uniforme del fluído de alimentación a traves de la región de alta presión de la membrana, en una modalidad, el módulo tiene dispositivos de flujo de entrada y de salida, para un flujo a contracorriente de un líquido de barrido a traves del permeado, preferiblemente la región de permeado de alta presión es un separador poroso de alta densidad, flanqueando en dos lados, con separadores porosos de alta densidad, en una modalidad, la región de permeado a presión más elevada y las regiones de flanqueo de permeado de descenso de baja presión, se obtienen mediante líneas de adhesivo o zonas de pegamento (o líneas) especialmente colocadas, que tienen una separación y un tamaño específicos, en terminos generales, las zonas (o líneas) se colocan en una configuración generalmente axial, con respecto al tubo central, se colocan líneas o zonas de pegamento en el pasaje de permeado, en un patrón, para obtener el flujo controlado del fluído de barrido a contracorriente concurrente o en corriente cruzada.
