Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una estructura de fibra óptica para la amplificación de señales ópticas, que comprende una longitud de fibra óptica, la cual incluye dos núcleos ópticos de monomodo o de un sólo modo, uniformemente espaciados, localizados dentro de un revestimiento metálico común para proporcionar dos trayectorias de orientación óptica, las particularidades ópticas de por lo menos los núcleos diferentes son de tal forma que producen las dos constantes de propagación en diferentes trayectorias de orientación, los valores de los cuales coinciden para una longitud de onda de acoplamiento predeterminada, la estructura de fibra óptica está caracterizada en que uno de los núcleos incluye un material fluorescente capaz de producir una emisión estimulada.
