Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un núcleo de cable de fibra óptica, que tiene un eje dispuesto centralmente que se extiende en forma longitudinal, el núcleo de cable de fibra óptica incluye al menos un medio de transmisión de fibra óptica y un miembro tubular que tiene una longuitud y una sección transversal circular y que encierra el al menos un medio de transmisión de fibra óptica, el nícleo de cable está caracterizado porque el medio de transmisión de fibra óptica tiene una longitud en axceso sobre la longitud del miembro tubular, la longitud en exceso y el área seccional transversal del medio de transmisión de fibra óptica en el miembro tubular y el diámetro interior de miembro tubular son tales como para evitar pérdidas de flexión que se pueden causar por la curvatura exesiva en el medio de transmisión de fibra óptica y por el arreglo interactivo excesivo del medio de transmisión de fibra óptica con una pared interior del miembro tubular, el cual comprende un material de plástico que tiene una relación entre la carga aplicada y la deformación que es susbtancialmente lineal hasta una deformación correspondiente a la longitud en exceso del medio de X841transmisión de fibra óptica a una temperatura dada.
