Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para producir partículas de detergente de alta actividad, caracterizado porque incluye las etapas de: (a) hacer reaccionar, en un sistema de neutralización continua, ácido sulfúrico de alquilo de 12 a 18 átomos de carbono, o ácido bencensulfónico de alquilo de 10 a 16 átomos de carbono, o mezclas de los mismos, con una solución de hidróxido de metal alcalino, la cual es mayor que, o igual al 62 por ciento en peso del hidróxido, para producir un producto neutralizado que tiene menos que, o igual al 12 por ciento en peso de agua; (b) agregar a este sistema de neutralización continua, durante la formación del producto neutralizado, glicol de polietileno de un peso molecular entre 4,00 0 y 50,000; un surfactante no iónico etoxilado de la fórmula R(OC2 H4)n OH, donde R es un grupo alquilo de 12 a 18 átomos de carbono, o un grupo alquil fenol de 8 átomos de carbono, y es de 9 a 80, con un punto de fusión mayor que, o igual a, 120ºF (48.9ºC); o mezclas de los mismos; donde la relación en peso del aditivo de la etapa (b) al producto de la etapa (a), es de 1:5 a 1:20; y (c) formar partículas de detergente.
