Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método para proteger un producto oxidable de la degradación a través de la oxidación por almacenamiento; caracterizado por las etapas de: (a) conformar un envase a partir de una estructura plástica que tiene una pluralidad de capas poliméricas solidas, en por lo menos una de las cuales se incorpora una composición eliminadora de oxígeno sec, (b) llenar el envase con el producto a envasarse y sellar hermeticamente dicho envase alrededor del producto y (c) someter el envase sellado a niveles elevados de temperatura y humedad para hacer all material protecto permeable a la humedad, con el fin de permitir que la humedad se ponga en contacto y humedezca la composición y convierta esta desde el estado positivo al estado activo para absorber la humedad dentro del envase.
