Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la producción continua de monoisocianato o poliisocianato orgánicos en una reacción de una sola etapa, caracterizado porque: a) se forma una mezcla de reacción mezclándola continuamente a una temperatura elevada por encima de la temperatura ambiental, pero que no exceda cerca de 150 grados C., que consiste de: i) una solución en un solvente orgánico substancialmente inerte de una monoamina o poliamina correspondiente al monoisocianato o poliisocianato, y ii) una solución de fosgeno en un solvente orgánico, substancialmente inerte; y b) se hace pasar continuamente la mezcla de reacción mencionada, de abajo hacia arriba a traves de una columna de reacción que comprende por lo menos 10 cámaras separadas por placas perforadas, en donde cada perforación de dichas placas perforadas, tiene un diámetro de menos de 20 mm, o por una serie de dichas columnas de reacción comprendiendo un total de cuando menos 10 cámaras separadas.
