Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una válvula de control de fluido que comprende un alojamiento que tiene una entrada para fluido en la parte inferior del mismo y una salida para fluido, dicha válvula se caracteriza por un cuerpo de válvula que tiene una perforación axial, un extremo de entrada inferior abierto adaptado para estar en comunicación de flujo con la entrada para fluido del alojamiento, y una salida; el cuerpo de válvula tiene una conexión roscada al alojamiento, una pieza de válvula estacionaria y una pieza de válvula movible ambas colocadas en el cuerpo de válvula para regular el flujo de fluido a través de dicha válvula en respuesta al movimiento de giro de la pieza movible sobre la pieza estacionaria; un vástago giratorio sellado dentro de un extremo superior de la perforación axial del cuerpo de válvula, dicho vástago tiene un extremo que se extiende fuera del cuerpo de válvula en tanto que el otro extremo se conecta con un impulsor; el vástago tiene también una proyección que se extiende radialmente y que se coloca en el cuerpo de válvula; una estructura de ranuras formada en el lado superior de la pieza de válvula movible, dicha estructura de ranuras siendo capaz de recibir al impulsor en dos posiciones que exceden de 10 grados pero que son menores de 170 grados, dispuestas giratoriamente una con relación a la otra; y una pared de tope formada en el cuerpo de válvula para limitar la rotación del vástago al hacer contacto con la proyección de éste; la válvula esta construida y dispuesta de manera que el contacto entre el impulsor y la pieza de válvula movible, en respuesta a la rotación del vástago, hae girar a la pieza de válvula movible sobre la pieza de válvula estacionaria y el cambio de las posiciones relativas de la estructura de ranuras y el extremo del impulsor, entre la primera y segunda posiciones de recepción, provoca una conversión de la válvula de una válvula derecha a una válvula izquierda o viceversa.
