Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición vulcanizable de hule que posee propiedades de adhesión al metal y retención de adhesión al metal con elementos metálicos de refuerzo de acero limpio embebidos en ella, las mejoras caracterizadas por: desde cerca de 0.2 hasta cerca de 6.0 partes por peso de un compuesto seleccionado del grupo consistente de cloruro de cobalto bis(8-hidroxiquinolato) y cobalto bis(8-hidroxiquinolato) por cien partes de la componente de hule en dicha composición de hule incorporadas a dicha composición de hule antes de vulcanizar.
