Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de hule una composición de hule vulcanizable con mejoras en la adhesión al metal y la retención al metal con elementos de refuerzo de bronce o con chapa de bronce,en donde las mejoras son caracterizadas por: de alrededor de 0.5 a alrededor de 12.5 partes por peso de de una sal orgánica de niquel por 100 partes de la componente de hule en dicha composición de hule; y al menos cerca de 0.3 partes por peso de una resina termoplástica derivada de madera cruda de pino o grupos de ácido etilico carboxilico por 100 partes de la componente de hule, son incorporados en dicha composición antes del curado. Un método para mejorar las propiedades de adhesión al metal y a la retención de adhesión al metal entre una composición de hule vulcanizable y elementos de refuerzo de bronce o enchapados en bronce. Una hoja de hule reforzada con metal, para ser usada como un elemento en un artículo de hule manufacturado, donde dicha hoja contenga una composición de hule y un elemento enchapado embebido en ella.
