Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de cápsulas concentradas de vidrio que tiene una pluralidad de segmentos de hebra de vidrio en disposición colimada dentro de un agente de encapsulación orgánico, critalino, y sustancialmente insoluble en agua, caracterizado porque dicho procedimiento comprende: A) formar una mezcla de agente de encapsulación fundido, segmentos de hebra de vidrio y agua; B) aplicar agitación de bajo esfuerzo constante a la mezcla hasta que se obtenga una dispersión sustancialmente uniforme de segmentos de hebra de vidrio encapsulados en sustancialmente disposición colimada; C) enfriar la dispersión por debajo del punto de fusión del agente de encapsulación; y D) recuperar y secar las cápsulas.
