Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un carbonato cálcico finamente dividido y estabilizado frente a los ácidos caracterizado por ser una mezcla de por lo menos alrededor de 0.1 por ciento en peso compuesto seleccionado entre el grupo formado por un agente quelatante de calcio y una base conjugada, que es una sal metálica alcalina de un ácido débil, junto con por lo menos alrededor de 0.1 por ciento en peso de un ácido débil, de manera que cuando se selecciona la base conjugada, la fracción de ácido débil de la misma y el ácido débil son iguales o son diferentes y están seleccionados entre el grupo formado por ácido fosfórico, ácido metafosfórico, ácido hezametafosfórico, ácido cítrico, ácido bórico, ácido sulfuroso, ácido acético y mezclas de los mismos, estando constituido el resto hasta 100 por ciento en peso por carbonato cálcico finamente dividido , de manera que el carbonato cálcico está recubierto por el agente quelantante del calcio o la base conjugada y el ácido débil y en equilibrio con ellos.
