Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar una espuma rígida, de celdas cerradas, a base de poliisocianato que comprende hacer reaccionar un poliisocianato orgánico con un compuesto que contiene hidrógeno activo, en presencia de un agente soplador, caracterizado dicho proceso porque el agente soplador comprende a) de 40 a 95 por ciento molar, con base en los componentes a9 y b) de por lo menos un compuesto de halogenocarbono que tiene un punto de ebullición de por lo menos 283 grados C y b) de 5 a 60 por ciento molar, con un compuesto de halogenocarbono que tiene un punto de ebullición inferior a o igual a alrededor de 266 grados K; y en donde la relación del punto de ebullición de un covmponente a) al de un componente b) es de 1.06:1 a 1.20:1 Una espuma rígida de celdas cerradas, a base de poliisocianato, caracterizado además porque la espuma resultante contienen dentro de sus celdas una composicivón gaseosa que cvomprende : a) de 30 a 85 por ciento molar con base en los componentes (a) y (b) de una mezcla, la cual a su vez comprende (1) y (2) de un compuesto halogenocarbono que tiene un punto de ebullición de por lo menos 283 grados K y (2) de 5 a 60 por ciento molar base en los componentes (1) y (2) de un compuesto halogenocarbono que tiene un punto de ebullición inferior o igual a 266 grados K y en donde la relación del punto de ebullición del componente 81) respecto al componente (2) es de 1.067 a 1.20:1. Una composición de isocianato reactivo, caracterizado porque el agente soplador está presente en una cantidad de 1 a 30 por ciento en peso, con base en el peso total del compuesto o los compuestos que contienen hidrógeno activo.
