Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método de resolución de cis-x-x/beta-beta-3-amino-4-(2-(2-furil)et-1-1)-1-metoxicar bonilmetiol-azetidin-2-ona en sus enantiómeros componentes caracterizado porque comprende las siguientes etapas: a) poner en contacto una solución del recemato cis-x,x/beta, beta en un disolvente con al menos alrededor de 0.5 equivalentes molares de hidrato del ácido (-)-3,3:4,6-di-0-isopropiliden-2-ceto-L-gulónico y (b) separar la sal de hidrato del ácido (-)-2,3:4,6-di-0-isopripiliden-2-ceto-L-gulónico del isómeto x,x así formada.
