Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método para dispersar materiales inorgánicos en sistemas acuosos con copolímeros de ácido acrílico de bajo peso molecular, e inhibir la formación de sedimientos de sales comunes de iones formadores de dureza en sistemas acuosos, caracterizado porque comprende agregar un copolímero de bajo peso molecular, soluble en agua, formado de 85 a 97 por ciento en peso, aproximadamente, de ácido acrílico y de 15 a 3 por ciento en peso aproximadamente, de un comonómero hidrofóbico, seleccionado del grupo que consta de acrilatos de alquilo inferior, que tiene de 2 a 8 átomos de carbono en el grupo alquilo, metacrilatos de alquilo inferior, que tienen de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono en el grupo alquilo, y compuestos aromáticos de vinilo, a los sistemas acuosos, y en que el copolímero tiene un peso molecular promedio de 2000 a 5.000 aproximadamente.
