Abstract

The invention relates to the mechanical engineering, namely to the construction of internal combustion engines.The seal between the piston (1) and the cylinder wall (2) of the internal combustion engines comprises compression and oil scraper rings (3, 4, 5) installed into the piston grooves, a bead (7) made into the piston (1). Between the inner diameter of the compression rings (3, 4, 5) and the outer diameter of the piston grooves it is formed a clearance (8) communicating with the combustion chamber. The rings (3, 4, 5) are installed together into a groove of the piston as a pack. The bead (7), the outer diameter of which is equal to the diameter of the piston skirt, separates the compression (3, 4, 5) and the oil scraper rings.
