Description

The invention relates to beekeeping and can be used to stimulate the growth of bee colonies.

In order for the bee colonies to develop properly and be in good condition for the acacia picking, spring protein feedings are more than necessary in the conditions of the lack of pollen in nature. Such feedings represent an increasingly common beekeeping practice, they make the queen lay eggs earlier, the bee family restores its flock and starts development much faster (Eremia N. Apicultura.

A procedure is known that provides for the administration of a nutritional supplement containing honey, powdered sugar, skimmed milk powder, corn germ meal and synthetic amino acids [1].

The disadvantage of this solution is that the supplement contains synthetic amino acids, and the rapid oxidation of protein and lipid components causes diarrhea in bees during the early spring, at the same time, the supplement is expensive.

A procedure for stimulating bee colonies is also known, which includes feeding the bees with a nutritional supplement based on syrup containing defatted soy flour, skimmed milk powder and yeast [2].

The disadvantage of this procedure is that the bees consume this food unsatisfactorily, the oxidation and fermentation of the food cause diarrhea in the bees.

The closest solution to the essence of the proposed invention is the process of stimulating the growth of bee families, which includes feeding the bees with a mixture of 50% sugar syrup and extract from the biomass of the cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis CNMN-CB-02, in a quantity of 100... 150 ml of the mixture to a frame covered with bees, for three weeks, every 3 days, at the same time the extract from the biomass of the cyanobacterium dissolved in a concentration of 0.1...1.0% of dry substance in physiological solution is used, which is added in the amount of 5...20 mg of dry substance per liter of sugar syrup [3].

The disadvantage of the closest solution is the low content of nutrients, the impossibility of keeping it for a long time, as well as the danger of sugar fermentation, and due to the fact that the extract from the cyanobacteria biomass is expensive, the process is not very accessible.

The technical problem that the present invention solves consists in the development of an accessible and efficient process for increasing the growth of bee families, which would ensure the intensification of the queen's egg weight, the quantitative increase of the brood raised, and as a result a high productivity of bees at acacia picking.

The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the method of feeding the bee families includes the use of a mixture containing whey from cow's milk and sugar, in a mass ratio of 1:1, which is administered in the spring, 100...150 ml each to a frame covered with bees, once every 3 days, during 3...4 weeks.

The technical result of the invention consists in the intensification of the weight of the queen's eggs, the quantitative increase of the brood of bees and the increase of the productivity of the families when collecting acacia honey.

The technical result obtained is explained by the fact that whey contains the same nutrients that pollen contains, it also contains all B group vitamins, calcium, potassium, iodine, mineral salts and enzymes, which increase the working capacity of bees, activates the weight of the queen, improves brood feeding. The whey allows to enrich the supplement with biologically active substances necessary for the growth and development of the bee brood, at the same time it contains few fats. Due to the low price of this by-product, obtained during the processing of cow's milk, the supplement is not expensive, it is accessible to beekeepers, and the invention contributes to the valorization of this product with high nutritional value.

The whey from cow's milk sweetened with sugar is prepared in the following way: sugar is dissolved in a liter of whey with a temperature of no more than 40ºC, in which the mass part of sugar is 50%. Depending on the density of the whey, the mass of dissolved sugar is calculated. In one liter of whey at 40ºC with a density of 1.025 g/ml, for example, 975 g of sugar is dissolved. The mass of sugar in the prepared sweetened whey is 50%.

Exemplu de realizare a invenţiei Example of realization of the invention

In early spring (March 20-30), 5 families of bees are fed, according to the nearby solution, with 50% sugar syrup in water, and according to the invention. Bees fed with sugar syrup and water constitute the control group, those fed according to the invention - the experimental group. All families are fed for 3...4 weeks, once every 3 days, with 100...150 ml of food in a frame covered with bees. Cow's milk whey sweetened with sugar is well consumed by bees, it does not cause food fermentation and diarrhea in bees.
