Abstract

The invention refers to apiculture, in particular to a method of prophylaxis and treatment of the American foulbrood of bees.The method of prophylaxis and treatment of the American foulbrood of bees includes addition into the castor sugar of the biomass of streptomycete Streptomyces canosus CNMN-Ac-04 in a dose of 1,8…2,2 g of dry homogeneous biomass to 100 g of castor sugar and administration of the obtained mixture to bees. The mixture is administered once for 100 g to a bee family.
