Abstract

The invention refers to apiculture, in particular to a method of prophylaxis and treatment of the American foulbrood of bees. The method of prophylaxis and treatment of the American foulbrood of bees includes addition into the castor sugar of the biomass of streptomycete Streptomyces canosus CNMN-Ac-04 in a dose of 1,8à2,2 g of dry homogeneous biomass to 100 g of castor sugar and administration of the obtained mixture to bees. The mixture is administered once for 100 g to a bee family.

Description

The invention relates to beekeeping, in particular to a method for the prophylaxis and treatment of American bee louse.

The use of dried and homogenized biomass of the streptomycete Streptomyces massasporeus CNM-AM-36 var. altercoler as a preparation for the prophylaxis and treatment of American foulbrood is known [1].

The disadvantage of using dried and homogenized biomass of the streptomycete Streptomyces massasporeus CNM-AM-36 var. altercoler is that the productivity of the culture is low.

The problem solved by the present invention consists in simplifying the method of prophylaxis and treatment of American lice in honey bees.

The essence of the invention consists in the fact that a method of prophylaxis and treatment of American bee louse is proposed, which includes adding to powdered sugar homogeneous dry biomass of streptomycete in a dose of 1.8…2.2 g of biomass per 100 g of powdered sugar and administering the obtained mixture to bees in a single dose, at the same time, the biomass of streptomycete Streptomyces canosus CNMN-Ac-04 is used, and the administration of the obtained mixture is carried out in a dose of 100 g to a bee colony.

Rezultatul obţinut, în comparaţie cu cea mai apropiată soluţie, constă în: The result obtained, compared to the closest solution, consists of:

- accelerarea proceselor biochimice şi fiziologice în organismul albinelor; - acceleration of biochemical and physiological processes in the bee body;

- micşorarea perioadei de cultivare a streptomicetelor de la 5 la 3 zile; - reducing the cultivation period of streptomycetes from 5 to 3 days;

- majorarea zonelor de reţinere a creşterii Bacillus larvae - agentul patogen al locei americane la albine (27,5 mm; la cea mai apropiată soluţie - 25,1 mm); - increasing the growth retention areas of Bacillus larvae - the pathogen of American foulbrood in bees (27.5 mm; at the closest solution - 25.1 mm);

- obtaining dried and homogenized biomass of streptomycete S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 is simpler and less expensive, compared to the closest solution.

The result obtained is due to the presence in the biomass of the streptomycete S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 of the substance with antibiotic action, which inhibits the growth of Bac. larvae - the pathogen of American louse, as well as the presence in the biomass of a complex of biologically active substances (amino acids, vitamins group B, lipids, etc.), which stimulate the functions of the bees' immune system.

Exemplu de realizare a invenţiei Example of embodiment of the invention

The preparation is administered by dusting the bees on frames with a mixture of powdered sugar and dried biomass of the streptomycete S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 at a dose of 2.0 g/100 g of powder per bee colony. The clinical condition of the bees is subsequently monitored.

The research has shown that the biomass of S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 reduces the percentage of infected larvae by 98.8% (at a mixture concentration of 2.0%). Determination of the antibiotic activity of the biomass of S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 indicates an increase in the growth inhibition zones of Bac. larvae (the pathogen of American louse) - 27.5 mm (at a preparation dose of 2.0 g per 100 g of powder), compared to 25.0 mm for the closest solution.

Analogous to the example described above, other experiments were carried out, which allowed determining the limit values of the S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 biomass concentration, with which the bees were treated, namely 1.8…2.2 g/100 g of powdered sugar, 100 g of mixture per bee colony.

Therefore, the proposed method, compared to the closest solution, ensures the simplification of the method of prophylaxis and treatment of American foulbrood (sticky spot) in honey bees, especially since the proposed S. canosus CNMN-Ac-04 biomass is harmless to humans and less expensive.
