Abstract

The invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to a strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast and can be used in microbiological industry for the production of enzymes with antioxidant properties, in particular superoxide dismutase.The yeast strain is deposited in the National Collection of Nonpathogenic Microorganisms of the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology of the ASM under the number CNMN-Y-11 and may be used as the source of superoxide dismutase.
