The invention relates to technologies for thin and ultrathin semimetallic microwire production in glass insulation.The process for obtaining bismuth semimetallic microwire in molybdenum glass insulation consists in the extension of the finished microwire heated up to the temperature at which the ratio between the viscosity factors of the bismuth semimetallic microwire and of the molybdenum glass ηm/ηs attains the value of 0,2.
