Prezenta invenţie se referă la trans-4-{2-[4-(2,3-diclorofenil)-piperazin-1-il]-etil}-N,N-dimetilcarbamoil-ciclohexilamină (cariprazină) şi sărurile farmaceutic acceptabile, hidraţii, solvaţii şi polimorfii acesteia pentru utilizarea în tratamentul simptomelor negative primare ale schizofreniei şi/sau a simptomelor predominant negative ale schizofreniei.
