Abstract
The invention relates to the resistance of plants to the root knot nematode destructive action.Summary of the invention consists in the fact that for obtaining plants resistant to the root knot nematodes infestation, it is effectuated the identification of the infest plant gene which is expressed into the nematode nutritive locus. The promoter of the gene nutritive locus is separated and associated with the sequence, which is coding the molecule hostile to the infestation with the root-knot nematode. Further the plant is modified by means of a chimaeric gene, created in such a way.The technical result of the proposed process consists in obtaining root-knot nematode resistant plants on the basis of transformation thereof by means of a chimaeric gene.
