Abstract
La présente divulgation concerne un procédé d'élimination de Cu et de Fe à partir d'une solution aqueuse acide contenant en outre un ou plusieurs éléments parmi Ni et Co, comprenant les étapes consistant à : ajouter un réactif métallique comprenant un ou plusieurs éléments parmi Ni et Co à la solution acide, dans des conditions d'oxydation, neutralisant ainsi la solution acide, et formant un précipité comprenant Cu et Fe, au moins une partie du Cu et du Fe étant sous la forme d'un hydroxyde ; et séparer le précipité de Cu et de Fe de la solution, ce qui permet d'obtenir une solution appauvrie en Cu et Fe. Le procédé réduit considérablement le besoin d'agents de neutralisation étrangers, limitant ainsi ou même évitant complètement l'introduction d'impuretés supplémentaires dans le procédé. Il est avantageusement appliqué sur une solution aqueuse acide obtenue par lixiviation de matériaux ayant la même composition que le réactif métallique.
