Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé et un appareil pour l'obtention d'eau pure à partir d'eau de mer, comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) une eau brute est fournie, laquelle comprend au moins un composant non volatil (sel), b) l'eau brute fournie est transférée en tant que moyen de refroidissement dans un échangeur de chaleur, c) de la chaleur supplémentaire est fournie à l'eau brute qui est chauffée dans l'échangeur de chaleur, d) l'eau brute issue de l'étape c) est introduite dans une zone d'évaporation, e) un gaz porteur approprié pour la vapeur d'eau est fourni (air), f) le gaz porteur est mis en contact avec l'eau brute dans un écoulement à contre-courant dans la zone d'évaporation qui contient des chicanes, le gaz porteur absorbant la vapeur d'eau issue de l'eau brute, g) l'eau brute qui est obtenue dans l'étape f) qui est enrichie avec le ou les composants non volatils est évacuée de la zone d'évaporation, h) le gaz porteur chargé de vapeur d'eau issue de la zone d'évaporation est introduit dans l'échangeur de chaleur et est refroidi dans un écoulement à contre-courant vers l'eau brute, la vapeur d'eau présente dans le gaz porteur se condensant partiellement, i) on fait s'écouler le gaz porteur appauvri en vapeur d'eau à l'extérieur de l'échangeur de chaleur, k) la vapeur d'eau condensée est évacuée de l'échangeur de chaleur sous forme d'eau pure, la zone d'évaporation fonctionnant de manière sensiblement adiabatique, et le gaz porteur étant transporté au moyen d'une convection naturelle dans la zone d'évaporation et par la suite dans l'échangeur de chaleur.
