Abstract

La présente invention concerne une unité houlomotrice pour la production d'énergie électrique. Elle comprend un corps flottant (1) conçu pour flotter sur la mer et un générateur linéaire électrique (2) présentant un stator (5) et un translateur (8) effectuant un mouvement de va-et-vient le long d'un axe central. Le stator (5) est conçu pour être ancré dans le lit marin et le translateur (8) est raccordé au corps flottant (1) par des moyens de raccordement (3, 7). Selon la présente invention, le générateur (2) est enfermé dans une encapsulation étanche(4) présentant une paroi d'extrémité supérieure pourvue d'une ouverture à travers laquelle s'étendent les moyens de raccordement (7). L'ouverture présente un dispositif d'étanchéité (12) qui assure l'étanchéité au niveau des moyens de raccordement (7). Le dispositif d'étanchéité (12) est monté de manière flexible. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de l'unité houlomotrice et un procédé permettant de produire de l'énergie électrique.
