Abstract

L'invention porte sur des procédés de séparation faisant appel à une osmose artificielle, lesquels procédés consistent généralement à extraire un solvant d'une première solution afin de concentrer le soluté au moyen d'une seconde solution concentrée qui extrait le solvant de la première solution à travers une membrane semi-perméable. Le soluté et le solvant peuvent être l'un et/ou l'autre le produit désiré. On peut améliorer l'efficacité du procédé en utilisant la chaleur résiduelle de basse énergie de sources industrielles ou commerciales.
