1387729 Gas washer KNECHT FILTERWERKE GmbH 17 July 1972 [15 July 1971] 33334/72 Heading B1R A gas washing column comprises a housing 3, an induction fan 17 mounted at one end thereof for passing gas to be cleaned through the housing 3, a first washing-liquid circulation system comprising an atomizer wheel 7 for creating a spray zone 14 and which is fed with a first washing liquid from chamber 11 via pump 12 and pipe 13 the liquid being circulated in a closed loop and a second washing liquid circulation system with atomizer wheel 7', spray zone 14', chamber 11', pump 12', pipe 13', the second washing liquid being returned in a closed loop via discharge channel 15 located between the co-axially arranged atomizer wheels 7 and 7'.
