Abstract

본 고안은 합성수지에 외장판에 관한 것으로서, 벽체의 외측면에 시공되는 다수의 상측판 및 하측판으로 이루어지는 합성수지 외장판에 있어서, 상기 상측판(10)의 하단에는 요홈부(12)가 형성되고, 상기 하측판(20)의 상단에는 상기 요홈부(12)내에 삽입되는 돌출부(24)가 형성되며, 상기 돌출부(24) 측면과 요홈부(12) 측면 중 적어도 한곳에는 외부로부터 유입되는 물의 모세관현상을 차단하도록 공간부가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하며, 이와 같이 구성되어 있으므로, 빗물, 물 등의 수분이 벽체로 침투하지 않으므로, 벽체(W)의 부식 등을 방지함과 동시에 더욱 수명을 연장시킬 수 있게 된다.

Description

합성수지 외장판
본 고안은 합성수지 외장판에 관한 것으로서, 건물등의 벽체의 외측에 상하방향으로 다수개가 결합되어 밀착배설되는 합성수지 외장판에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 건물의 벽체는 콘크리이트 등으로 시공되며, 상기 벽체의 외측면에는 미관을 위하여 도색을 실시하게 되며, 근래에는 소비자 등의 요구나 미관 및 보수 등의 편리를 위하여 합성수지제 등으로 제작된 외장판이 시공되고 있다.
종래에 이와 같은 외장판은 제1도에 도시한 바와 같이 콘크리이트 등으로 시공된 벽체(W)의 외측면에는 상측판(1)이 시공되고, 상기 상측판(1)이 하측에는 하측판(3)이 시공된다.
상기 상측판(1)의 하단에는 요홈부(1a)가 형성되어 있고, 상기 하측판(2)의 상단에는 상기 요홈부(1a)내에 삽입되는 돌출부(3a)가 형성되어 있다.
그런데, 이와 같이 구성된 종래 외장판이 벽체의 외측에 시공되었을 때, 상·하측판의 결합부, 즉 요홈부와 돌출부 사이에 미세한 간격이 형성됨에 따라 모세관 현상에 의해 외부로부터 빗물 등이 침투되어 벽체를 부식시킴은 물론 습기 등에 의해 벽체의 수명을 단축시킨다고 하는 등의 여러 가지 문제점들이 내재되어 있었다.
따라서, 본 고안은 상술한 바와 같은 종래 기술의 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 안출된 것으로서, 본 고안의 목적은 상기 요홈부와 돌출부사이에서 발생하는 모세관 현상을 차단하게 하여 빗물 등의 침투를 방지하는 합성수지 외장판을 제공하는 데 있다.

본 고안에 따른 합성수지 외장판은 벽체의 외측면에 시공되는 다수의 상측판 및 하측판으로 이루어 지는 합성수지 외장판에 있어서, 상기 상측판의 하단에는 요홈부가 형성되고, 상기 하측판의 상단에는 상기 요홈부내에 삽입되는 돌출부가 형성되며, 상기 돌출부측면과 요홈부측면 중 적어도 한곳에는 외부로부터 유입되는 물의 모세관현상을 차단하도록 공간부가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
이하, 본 고안의 바람직한 실시예를 첨부된 도면에 따라서 더욱 상세하게 설명한다.
제2도는 본 고안의 바람직한 실시예에 의한 합성수지 외장판을 나타낸 개략도이고, 제3도는 본 고안의 바람직한 실시예의 의한 합성수지 외장판에서 모세관현상에 대한 작용상태도이다.
제2도에 도시한 바와 같이, 합성수지 외장판은 벽체의 외측면에 시공되는 다수의 상측판(10) 및 하측판(20)으로 이루어져 있다.
상기 상측판(10)의 하단에는 요홈부(12)가 형성되어 있고, 상기 하측판(20)의 상단에는 요홈(12)내에 삽입되는 돌출부(24)가 형성되며, 상기 요홈부(12)의 좌측면에는 외부로부터 유입되는 물의 모세관현상을 차단하도록 공간부(16)가 형성되어 있다.
그리고, 상기 상측판(10)의 상단에는 또 다른 상측판의 요홈부에 삽입되는 돌출부(14)가 형성되어 있고, 상기 하측판(20)의 하단에는 또다른 하측판의 돌출부를 수용하도록 요홈부(22)가 형성되어 있으며, 상기 요홈부(22)의 좌측면에는 외부로부터 유입되는 물의 모세관현상을 차단하도록 공간부(26)가 형성되어 있다.
상기 상측판 및 하측판은 그 요홈부 및 돌출부에 의해 연속적으로 결합되어 벽체(w)를 덮는 외장판을 형성하게 된다.
상기 상측판(10) 및 하측판(20)은 합성수지재로 되어 있다.
이와같이 구성된 합성수지 외장판에서 제3도에 도시한 바와 같이, 벽체(W)에 시공된 외장판의 측면에 외면에 빗물등이 훌러 내리면, 상측판(10)의 요홈부와 하측판(20)의 돌출부가 결합된 결합선(L)을 따라 형성된 미세한 틈을 따라 물입자가 모세관 현상에 의해 이동한다.
물 입자가 공간부(16)에 이르면, 상기 공간부(16)의 공간에 의해 물입자는 더 이상 상승하지 못하고 모인다. 따라서, 상기 공간부(16)에 모인 물은 그 중력에 의해 그 하측에서 상승하는 입자를 누르게 되어 모세관현상이 증지된다.
따라서, 외장판의 내측, 즉, 벽체(W)쪽으로는 물이 넘어 가지 못하게 되어 물의 침투가 방지되는 것이다.
본 고안의 바람직한 실시예에서는 공간부(16, 26)가 요홈부(12, 22)의 측면에 형성되어 있으나, 공간부가 돌출부(14, 24)의 측면에 형성될 수 있음은 물론이다.
이와같이 구성된 본 고안의 합성수지 외장판에 의하면 빗물, 물등의 수분이 벽체로 침투하지 않으므로, 벽체(W)의 부식 등을 방지함과 동시에 더욱 수명을 연장시킬 수 있게 된다.

  1. 본 고안은 벽체의 외측면에 시공되는 다수의 상측판 및 하측판으로 이루어지는 합성수지 외장판에 있어서, 상기 상측판(10)의 하단에는 요홈부(12)가 형성되고, 상기 하측판(20)의 상단에는 상기 요홈부(12)내에 삽입되는 돌출부(24)가 형성되며, 상기 돌출부(24)측면과 요홈부(12)측면 중 적어도 한 곳에는 외부로부터 유입되는 물의 모세관현상을 차단하도록 공간부가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 합성수지 외장판.
