Abstract

피복경질 합금공구는 프랭크면(4)과 절삭면(6)의 연결부를 이루는 절단날 능선부(3)에 칼날끝 처리부를 갖는 경질합금 기본재료(1)와, 해당 경질합금 기본재료(1)의 표면에 피복된 피복막(2)을 구비하며, 피복막(2)의 표면의 절단날 능선부93)에 표면처리부를 갖고 있다. 이 피복경질 합금공구의 특징은 경질합금 기본재료(1)의 표면에서 프랭크면(4)과 칼날끝 처리부의 경계부에 형성되는 볼록면의 곡율반경을 Rs1, 피복막(2)의 표면에서 프랜크면(4)과 표면 처리부의 경계부에 형성되는 볼록면의 곡율반경을 Rc1, 칼날끝 처리부이외의 영역의 피복막(2)의 평균막을 d로 했을 때, Rc1(Rs1+d)1.0 으로 되도록 피복막(2)이 형성되어 있는 것에 있다. 이 구조에 의하면, 내결손성을 손상하지 않고 내마모성을 향상한 수명이 긴 피복경질 합금공구를 제공할 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 피복경질 합금공구의 칼날끝 능선부에 있어서, 경질합금 기본재료의 칼날끝 처리부의 형태와 피복막의 표면처리부의 형태를 도시한 단면도.
제2도는 본 발명의 효과를 검증하기 위해서 사용한 슬로우어웨이칩의 형태를 도시한 사시도.
제3도는 절삭 테스트시에 절단가루와 슬로우어웨이칩의 절삭면과의접촉면에 발생하는 크레이터 마모를 설명하기 위한 도면.

Claims (10)

  1. 프랭크면(4)과 절삭면(6)과의 연결부를 이루는 절단날 능선부(3)에 칼날끝 처리부를 갖는 경질합금 기본 재료(1)와 해당 경질합금 기본재료(1)의 표면에 피복된 피복막(2)을 구비하고, 상기 피복막(2)의 표면의 절단날 능선부(3)에 표면처리부를 갖는 피복경질 합금공구에 있어서, 상기 경질합금 기본재료(1)의 표면에서 프랭크면(4)과 칼날끝 처리부의 경게부에 형성되는 볼록면의 곡율반경을 Rs1, 상기 피복막(2)의 표면에서 프랭크면(4)과 상기 표면처리부의 겨계부에 형성되는 볼록면의 곡율반경을 Rc1, 칼날끝 처리부 이외의 영역의 피복막920의 평균막두께를 d로 했을 때, Rc1/(Rs1+d)1.0 이 되도록 피복막(2)을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 경질합금 기본재료(1)의 표면에 있어서 절삭면(6)과 칼날끝 처리부의 경계부에 형성되는 볼록면의 곡율반경을 Rs2, 상기 피복막(2)의 표면에 있어서 절삭면(6)과 칼날끝 처리부의 경계부에 형성되는 볼록면의 곡율반경을 Rc2로 했을 때, Rc2/(Rs2+d)1.0 으로 되도록 피복막(2)이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, Rc1/(Rs1+d)가 0.2이상 0.8이하가 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, Rc2/(Rc2+d)가 2.0이상 5.0이하가 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 경질합금 기본재료(1)의 피복막(2)의 가장 얇은 부분의 막두께가 15㎛이상이고, 표면처리에 의해서 박막화된 절단날 능선부(3)에서의 막두께를 dx로 했을 때, dx/d가 0.2이상 0.8이하가 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, Rs2/Rs1이 0.7이상 1.3이하가 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, Rc2/Rc1이 2.0이상 5이하가 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 피복막(2) 표면에 있어서의 칼날끝 처리부의 절삭면(6)측의 폭을 a, 프랭크면(4)측의 폭을 b로 했을 때, 이들의 a/b가 1.5 이상 4.0 이하로 되도록 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피복막(2)이 다층구조를 갖고, 이 중 적어도 1층이 산화물 세라믹층으로 이루어지고, 해당 산화물 세라믹층의 적어도 1층의 두께의 일부가 절단날 능선부(3) 전영역에 걸쳐서 잔존하도록 표면처리가 행해진 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금 공구.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피복막(2)의 표면의 칼날끝 처리부에 있어서의 증가 표면적 비율이 0.1% 이상 1.3% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복경질 합금공구.
