오일 첨가제, 그에 사용되는 조성물 및 중합체(OIL ADDITIVES, COMPOSITIONS AND POLYMERS FOR USE THEREIN)

제1도는 에틸렌-비닐 아세테이트 비닐-2-에틸헥사노에이트 삼원공중합체의 시료 양성자 NMR 스펙트럼을 나타낸다.

Claims (12)

  1. 오일, 및 에틸렌에서 유래된 단위에 추가하여 하기 화학식 (Ⅰ)의 단위 및 하기 화학식 (Ⅱ)의 단위를 함유하는 유용성 에틸렌 삼원공중합체를 포함하는 오일 조성물(이때, 양성자 NMR 분광학에 의해 측정된 삼원 공중합체의 분지 정도는 100 CH2단위당 6 미만의 CH3기이다):
    상기 식에서, R1및 R2는 각각 독립적으로 H 또는 메틸이고, R3는 탄소수 4 이하의 알킬 기이고, R4는 3차 알킬 기가 아닌 탄소수 8 내지 15의 분지쇄 알킬 기, 또는 탄소수 7 이하의 분지쇄 알킬 기이고, R3및 R4는 상이하다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, R1및 R2는 각각 수소를 나타내고, R3가 메틸을 나타내는 조성물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, R4가 1-에틸 펜틸 또는 1-에틸 프로필을 나타내는 조성물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 삼원공중합체가 겔 투과 크로마토그래피에 의해 측정시 20,000 이하의 수 평균 분자량(Mn)을 갖는 조성물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단위 Ⅰ 및 Ⅱ의 총 몰 비율이 10 내지 25% 범위내이고, Mn이 3,000 내지 6,000 범위내인 조성물.
  6. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단위 Ⅰ 및 Ⅱ의 총 몰 비율이 3.5 내지 7몰% 범위내이고, Mn이 3,000 내지 10,000 범위내인 조성물.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 오일이 10℃미만의 흐림점에서 측정시 3% 이하의 왁스 함량을 갖는 연료유이고, 삼원공중합체가 오일의 중량을 기준으로 0.005 내지 0.2%의 비율로 존재하는 조성물.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에서 정의된 바와 같은 삼원공중합체와 상이한 하나이상의 에틸렌-불포화 에스테르 공중합체를 더욱 포함하는 조성물.
  9. 에틸렌에서 유래된 단위에 추가하여 하기 화학식 (Ⅰ)의 단위 및 하기 화학식 (Ⅱ)의 단위를 함유하는 유용성 에틸렌 삼원공중합체(이때, 양성자 NMR 분광학에 의해 측정된 삼원 공중합체의 분지 정도는 100 CH2단위당 6 미만의 CH3기이다):
    상기 식에서, R1및 R2는 각각 독립적으로 H 또는 메틸이고, R3는 탄소수 4 이하의 1차 또는 2차 알킬 기이고, R4는 탄소수 15이하의 2차 알킬 기이고, R3및 R4는 상이하다.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, R4및 R가 각각 수소이고, R3가 1차 알킬 기인 삼원공중합체.
  11. 제9항 또는 제10항에서 정의된 바와 같은 삼원공중합체 및 오일 또는 오일과 혼합가능한 용매를 포함하는 첨가제 농축 조성물.
  12. 오일의 저온 성질을 개선시키기 위한 제1항 내지 제6항, 제9항 및 제10항 중 어느 한 항에서 정의된 바와 같은 삼원공중합체의 용도.
