Abstract
본 발명은 실리카와 같은 다공성 지지체를 디알킬마그네슘 화합물과 같은 유기 마그네슘 화합물로 함침시키고, 상기 마그네슘-함유 지지체를 히드록시기가 없는 실란 화합물, 예컨대 테트라에틴 오르토실리케이트와 같은 테트라알콕시실란과 접촉시킨 후에, 사염화티탄과 같은 전이금속 성분을 마그네슘 및 실란 성분에 대한 특정의 비율로 혼입시키므로써 제조되는 에틸렌 중합반응 촉매에 관한 것이다. 상기 촉매 전구물질을 조촉매인 디메틸알루미늄 클로라이드로 활성화시키면 다정 분자량 분포를 가진 에틸렌 공중합체를 제조하는데 더욱 유효한 촉매 시스템을 얻을 수 있다.

Claims (7)
- 고형의 지지된 촉매 전구물질과 조촉매를 포함하며, 에틸렌과 C3-C10알파-올레핀과의 공중합반응에 사용하기 위한 촉매 조성물로서, 상기 촉매 전구물질은 하기 a) 내지 d)를 포함하며, 상기 조촉매는 디메틸알루미늄 클로라이드인 촉매 조성물; a) 실리카 1g당 0.4mmol 내지 0.9mmol의 OH기를 가지는 실리카; b) Mg : OH 몰 비율 1.0 내지 1.8을 제공하는 양으로 존재하며, 화학식 RmMgR′n으로 표시되고, 이때 R과 R′는 각각 C4-C10알킬기이며 m+n은 마그네슘의 원자가와 같은 디알킬마그네슘 화합물 : c) 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트 : Mg몰 비율 0.50 내지 0.80을 제공하는 양으로 존재하며, 알킬기가 2 내지 6개의 탄소원자를 함유하는 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트; 및 d) Ti : Mg몰 비율 0.7 내지 1.4를 제공하는 양의 사염화티탄.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고형의 촉매 전구물질이 하기 수학식 1로 표시되는 값 K를 특징으로 하며, K 값이 0.4 이하인 촉매 조성물 :상기 수학식에서, [Ti]는 TiCl4에 의해 제공된 티탄의 몰 함량이고; [Mg]는 상기 디알킬마그네슘 화합물에 의해 제공된 마그네슘의 몰 함량이며; [Si]는 상기 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트에 의해 제공된 실리콘의 몰 농도를 나타낸다.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 촉매 전구물질이 하기 (a) 내지 (d)를 포함하는 단계들에 의해서 제조되는 촉매 조성물 : (a) 실라카 1g 당 0.4mmol 내지 0.9mmol의 OH기를 가지는 실리카의 비극성 용매중의 슬러리를 제공하는 단계; (b) 상기 실리카를 Mg : OH몰 비율 1.0 내지 1.8을 제공하는 양의 상기 디알킬마그네슘 화합물과 접촉시키는 단계; (c) 상기 단계(b)의 생성물에 C2-C6알킬을 함유하는 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트를, 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트 : Mg몰 비율 0.50 내지 0.80을 제공하는 양으로 첨가하는 단계; 및 (d) 상기 단계 (iii)의 생성물을 Ti : Mg몰 비율 0.7 내지 1.4를 제공하는 양의 사염화티탄과 접촉시키는 단계.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트가 테트라에틸 오르토실리케이트 또는 테트라부틸 오르토실리케이트인 촉매 조성물.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 테트라알킬 오르토실리케이트가 테트라에틸 오르토실리케이트인 촉매 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 K값이 0.23 내지 0.31의 범위인 촉매 조성물.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (i)-(iv)가 40 내지 65℃ 범위의 온도에서 수행되는 촉매 조성물.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
