Abstract

본 발명은 용매 없이도 가공될 수 있으며 수성 스티렌-아크릴레이트 중합체 분산액을 기재로 한, 평균 막형성 온도가 10℃보다 낮은 저취 결합제에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 또한 이들 결합제로 이루어진 저방출 피복 조성물, 특히 에멀전 페인트에도 관련된다.

Claims (20)

  1. 최소 막형성 온도가 10℃미만인 1종 이상의 수성 중합체 분산액을 기재로 하며, 상기 수성 중합체 분산액은 a) 단독중합체의 유리 전이 온도 Tg20℃인 1종 이상의 단량체 45 내지 70중량부, b) 단독중합체의 유리 전이 온도Tg50℃인 1종 이상인 단량체 30 내지 55중량부, c) 산성 기를 가진 1종 이상의 단량체 0 내지 1중량부, 및 d) α,β-불포화 C3-C6카르복실산의 아미드, 그의 C2-C6-히드록시알킬 에스테르 및 (또는) N-비닐락탐으로부터 선택된 1종 이상의 추가 단량체 0 내지 2중량부 (단, a)와 b)의 중량부의 합은 100중량부임)를 함유하는 단량체 혼합물의 자유 라디칼 수성 에멀젼 중합에 의해 얻을 수 있는 것인 결합제.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 단량체 a)는 1종 이상의 C1-C10-알킬 아크릴레이트, C5-C|10-알킬 메타크릴레이트, C5-C10-시클로알킬 (메트) 아크릴레이트, C1-C10-디알킬말레에이트 및(또는) C1-C10-디알킬 푸마레이트로부터 선택되고, 단량체 b) 는 1종 이상의 비닐-방향족 단량체 및(또는) 모노카르복실산 또는 디카르복실산의 α,β-불포화 니트릴로부터 선택되는 결합제.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단량체 c)는 α,β-불포화 C3-C6-카르복실산, α,β-불포화 C4-C8-디카르복실산, 또는 이들의 무수물, 모노에틸렌계 불포화 알킬술폰산 및(또는) 아릴술폰산으로부터 선택되는 결합제.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체가 50 내지 65중량부의 단량체 a), 35 내지 50중량부의 단량체 b), 0 내지 0.5중량부의 단량체 c) 및 0.5 내지 2중량부의 단량체 d)로 이루어지는 결합제.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체가 0 내지 0.3중량부의 단량체 c) 및 0.5 내지 1.5중량부의 단량체 d)로 이루어지는 결합제.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체가 1종 이상의 비이온성, 지방족 또는 방향지방족 유화제의 존재하에 진행되는 중합에 의해 얻을 수 있는 것인 결합제.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 비이온성 유화제가 단량체의 총중량을 기준으로 2 내지 4중량% 범위의 양으로 사용되는 결합제.
  8. 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 비이온성 유화제가 에톡시화도가 3 내지 50, 특히 8 내지 50 및 더욱 특히 10 내지 50 범위인 에톡시화 C8-C36알코올인 결합제.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 비이온성 유화제가 에톡시화도가 10 내지 50 범위인 에톡시화 C10-C22알칸올, 특히 직선형 탄소쇄를 가진 것인 결합제.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 비이온성 유화제가 에톡시화도가 8 내지 50 범위인 에톡시화 C12-C18알칸올, 특히 옥소 알코올인 결합제.
  11. 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체가 단량체의 총중량을 기준으로 0.1 내지 0.5중량%의 1종 이상의 자유 라디칼 중합 개시제의 존재하에 진행되는 에멀젼 중합에 의해 얻을 수 있는 것인 결합제.
  12. 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합 개시제로서 퍼옥소디술퍼산 또는 그의 알칼리 금속염 또는 암모늄염의 존재하에 진행되는 에멀젼 중합에 의해 얻을 수 있는 것인 결합제.
  13. 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체가 70 내지 90℃에서의 에멀젼 중합에 의해 얻을 수 있는 것인 결합제.
  14. 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체가 중합도를 조절할 화합물의 부재하에 진행되는 단량체의 에멀젼 중합에 의해 얻을 수 있는 것인 결합제.
  15. 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결합제 중합체 입자의 평균 직경이 100 내지 300nm 범위인 결합제.
  16. 제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 공중합되는 단량체 c)의 산성 기가 중화된 형태로 있는 결합제.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 중합체가 암모늄염기를 함유하지 않는 결합제.
  18. 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 결합제 1종 이상을 함유하는 무용매, 저방출 피복 조성물.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, 안료 체적 농도(p.v.c)가 60%를 넘는 내장용 에멀젼 페인트 형태인 피복 조성물.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 고형분 함량을 기준으로 40 내지 94중량%의 충전제, 2 내지 30중량%의 안료, 4 내지 30중량%의, 1종 이상의 제1항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 중합체 결합제(고형분으로 계산), 및 0.1 내지 10중량%의 통상적인 보조제를 함유하는 피복 조성물.
