Abstract

본 발명은 브레이크패드와 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 종래 브레이크패드 구성 요소중 소음 차단판(noise insulator)를 없애고 실리콘카바이드가 함유된 알루미늄판과 마찰재만으로 구성된 브레이크패드 플레이트 및 이를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 브레이크패드의 개략적인 제조공정도이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 실리콘카바이드(SiC) 20중량%를 함유하는 알루미늄 바탕판과 마찰재로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 브레이크패드.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 마찰재는 반금속 마찰재, 비철 마찰재 또는 비석면 유기질 마찰재임을 특징으로 하는 브레이크패드.
  3. 1) 실리콘카바이드 20중량%를 함유하는 알루미늄을 용해로 온도 660∼800℃에서 유지시키고 교반하여 용탕온도를 843℃이하로 교반시키면서 보존하고 2) 금형에 상기 1)의 용탕을 부어 주조하여 브레이크패드 플레이트를 제조한 다음 공냉하고 160∼170℃에서 열처리한 후 기름을 제거(degreasing)하고, 여기에 접착재를 도포한 다음 3) 160∼180℃에서 5∼12분간 가열하면서 마찰재를 접착시키고, 숙성한 다음 4) 마찰재 표면에 도장하고 건조시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 브레이크패드의 제조방법.
