Abstract

본 발명은 스트라이프 형상의 다수개의 캐소드전극과 에미터가 형성되며 상기 에미터 사이에 절연층과 게이트전극이 형성된 하부기판과, 상기 캐소드전극과 교차하는 스트라이프 형상의 다수개의 애노드전극과 형광체가 형성된 상부기판이 소저 간격 이격되게 유지시키는 스페이서를 포함하는 전계 방출 표시장치에 있어서, 상기 스페어서는 중심에 금속선으로 이루어지고 이 금속선의 표면에 게터가 형성된 스페이서를 갖는다. 따라서, 본 발명은 별도의 게터를 설치할 필요없이 스페이서에 형성하므로 제조공정이 용이하고 스페이서에 금속선을 사용하므로 장시간 사용후 진공도가 저하될 경우 금속선에 전원을 인가하여 고진공 상태를 유지할 수 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 스트라이프 형상의 다수개의 캐소드전극과 에미터가 형성되며 상기 에미터 사이에 절연층과 게이트전극이 형성된 하부기판과, 상기 캐소드전극과 교차하는 스트라이프 형상의 다수개의 애노드전극과 형광체가 형성된 상부기판이 소정 간격 이격되게 유지시키는 스페이서를 포함하는 전계 방출 표시장치에 있어서, 상기 스페어서는 중심에 금속선으로 이루어지고 이 금속선의 표면에 게터가 형성된 스페이서를 갖는 전계 방출 표시장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서의 금속선이 텅스텐으로 형성된 게터가 형성된 스페이서를 갖는 전계 방출 표시장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서에 형성된 게터가 비증발성 게터의 이루어진 게터가 형성된 스페이서를 갖는 전계 방출 표시장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서에 형성된 게터가 지르코늄-알루미늄(Zr-Al) 또는 지르코늄-바나늄-철(Zr-V-Fe)을 선택적으로 형성하는 게터가 형성된 스페이서를 갖는 전계 방출 표시장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 스페이서가 10~300㎛의 높이로 형성된 게터가 형성된스페이서를 갖는 전계 방출 표시장치.
