Abstract

본 발명은 p,p-비스페놀 A(BPA)의 순도가 99.95중량% 이상인 비스페놀 A의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 정제된, 열에 안정하고 색상이 안정한 BPA는 그로부터 제조된 폴리카르보네이트와 같은 중합체에 향상된 열적 안정성 및 색상 안정성 및 향상된 광학적 투명도를 제공한다.

Claims (2)

  1. a) 페놀성 용액에서의 p,p-BPA 농도를 60 내지 80℃의 온도에서 10 내지 40중량%가 되도록 조정하고, b) 상기 a) 단계에서 얻어진 용액을 직렬로 연결된 일련의 컬럼에 가하고, c) 첫 번째 증류 단계에서, 반응기에서 배출되는 반응 용액으로부터 물 및 잔류 아세톤, 및 임의로 페놀을 제거한 후, d) 두 번째 증류 단계에서, 상기 c) 단계에서 얻어진 무수 용액 내 p,p-BPA의 컬럼 기저부에서의 농도를 70 내지 97중량%가 되도록 조정한 후, e) 세 번째 증류 단계에서, 상기 d) 단계에서 얻어진 용액으로부터 휘발성이 거의 없는 성분 및 비휘발성 성분을 제거한 후, f) 네 번째 증류 단계에서, p,p-BPA와 함께 증류된 쉽게 휘발하는 성분 및 잔류 페놀을 제거하고, g) 컬럼 기저부에서 얻은 p,p-BPA 용융물을 통상의 방법으로 마루리 처리하는 것으로 이루어진, 머캅토아민 및(또는) 티아졸리딘 및(또는) 티오카르복실산으로 임의로 개질된 술폰산 이온 교환기 존재 하에 아세톤 및 페놀로부터 BPA를 제조하는 동안 얻어지는 반응 용액으로부터 순도가 99.95중량%이상이고 하젠(Hazen)(APHA) 색상 지수가 5 미만인 비스페놀 A를 얻은 방법.
  2. 제1항에 따라 제조된 비스페놀의 폴리카르보네이트 및 에폭시 수지의 제조를 위한 용도.
