Abstract

아질산염으로 오염된 아민 옥사이드 계면활성제는 산성 조건하에서 말레산 및 디에틸렌트리아민펜타아세테이트(DTPA)와 같은 물질로 처리함으로써 아질산염의 수준이 1ppm 이하로 저하된다. 따라서, C12-C13디메틸 아민을 말레산 및 DTPA의 존재하에서 과산하수소로 처리하여 아질산염의 수준을 저하시킨다. 생성된 아질 산염 부재 아민 옥사이드는 각종 세제 조성물에 사용된다.

Claims (8)

  1. 과산화수소 또는 과산화수소 공급원을 사용하여 일반식 RR1R2N의 아민〔여기서, R은 C8내지 C18알킬 또는 알케닐 치환제이고, R1및 R2는 각각 C1-C4알킬 또는 하이드록시알킬 치환체이다〕을 산화시켜 일반식 RR1R2N→O의 아민 아민옥사이드 계면활성제〔여기서, R,R1및 R2는 위에서 정의된 바와 동일하다〕를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 산화를 시트레이트의 존재하에서 또는 수용성 에틸렌디아민테트라아세테이트 (EDTA), 디에틸렌트리아민-펜타아세테이트(DTPA), 니트릴로아세테이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 킬레이트 활성제와 말레이트, 말리에이트, 석시네이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로 선택된 킬레이트 활성제와 말레이트, 말리에이트, 석시네이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 킬레이트 공활성제를 포함하는 킬레이트 화합물의 존재하에서 수행함(당행 공정은 6 내지 8의 pH에서 수행되며, 이로써 아질산염에 의한 아민 옥사이드 계면활성제의 오염이 약 4주 이상 동안 거의 저하된다)을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 아민이 C10-C18알킬 디메틸아민인 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 킬레이트 활성제가 EDTA, DTPA 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되고, 킬레이트 공활성제가 말리에이트, 말레이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, DTPA가 킬레이트 활성제이고, 말레산이 킬레이트 공활성제이며, 혼합물이 약 0.1내지 약 6%의 수준으로 존재하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 킬레이트 활성제 대 킬레이트 공활성제의 중량비가 1:20 내지 2:1인 방법.
  6. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 시트레이트가, 조성물의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 약 0.1 내지 약 6중량%의 수준으로 존재하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, a) 아민이 C12-C16알킬 디메틸 아민이고, b) 산화가 DTPA 및 말레산의 존재하에서 수행되고, c) 산화가 약 6.5 내지 약 8의 pH 범위에서 수행되고, d) 산화가 약 45 내지 약 75℃의 온도 범위에서 수행됨으로써, 생성된 아민 옥사이드의 아질산염 함량이 약 4주 이상 동안 약 3ppm 이하로 유지되는 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 따르는 방법으로 제조한 아민 옥사이드 계면활성제를 포함하는 안정한 세제 조성물.
