Abstract

본 발명은 특정 부류의 중합체, 이들을 필름으로 제조하는 방법, 및 이들의 용도에 관한 것이다. 이들 중합체는 독특한 특성을 가져서 중합체 필름에 사용하기 특히 적합해진다. 이들 필름은 열밀봉성이 필요한 용도, 특히 이오노머 필름을 함유하는 용도에 특히 유용하다.
메탈로센 촉매 시스템으로부터 유도된 중합체가 놀랍게도 종래의 지글러-나타 촉매에 의해 제조된 중합체에 비해 이오노머로 공지된 부류의 중합체에 매우 양호하게 열밀봉됨을 발견하였다.

Claims (9)

  1. 3.0 미만의 MWD 및 2.0 미만의 MZ/MW를 갖는 중합체를 포함하는 제1층, 및 이오노머를 포함하는 제2층을 비롯하여 둘 이상의 층을 포함하며, 이 때 상기 제1층 및 제2층이 서로 가압되어 밀봉을 형성하는 중합체 필름.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 밀봉이 80℃ 내지 110℃의 밀봉온도에서 2N보다 큰 최대 열간점착력을 갖는 필름.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 중합체가 탄소원자 2 내지 20개의 알파-올레핀 단량체 하나 이상 및 이들의 혼합물, 에틸렌, 및 C4내지 C20알파-올레핀 단량체 하나 이상을 포함하며, 바람직하게는 에틸렌의 공중합체 또는 에틸렌의 삼원공중합체를 포함하는 필름.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 필름이 약 90℃ 미만의 밀봉개시온도를 갖는 필름.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 층들이 서로 적충되는 필름.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 및/또는 상기 이오노머가 다른 폴리올레핀과 블렌딩되거나 또는 서로 블렌딩되는 필름.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 중합체의 CDBI가 60%보다 크고, 바람직하게는 90%보다 크며, 더욱 바람직하게는 70%보다 큰 필름.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 이오노머가 델라웨어 윌밍톤 소재의 이. 아이. 듀퐁, 캄파니(E. I. Dupont Co.) 제품인 SurlynR이오노머로 구성되는 군으로부터 선택되는 필름.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 필름으로 이루어진 제품 부분 중 하나 이상을 연화시키기에 충분한 온도에서 상기 제품 부분 중 둘 이상을 서로 가압함으로써 제조한 밀봉을 포함하는 제품.
