Abstract

비교적 적은 부품으로 광 화이버의 선단을 보호할 수 있는 광 컨넥터를 제공한다.
화살표 12로 표시하는 감합방향에 따른 내벽면(20a)에 돌기(22a,22b)가 형성된 凹형 감합부(22)가 있는 플러그 하우징(20)과, 판형의 기부(42)가 있고 凹형 감합부(22)의 안을 감합방향으로 진퇴하는 광 화이버 보호부재(40)와, 凹형 감합부(22)와 감합하는 凸상 감합부(62)가 있는 헤더 하우징(60)을 구비한다. 플러그 하우징(20)과 헤더 하우징(60)이 전혀 감합되지 않은 상태에서는, 한쌍의 L자형 레그(44)와 돌기(22a)가 계합하는 것으로서 광 화이버(24)와 선단이 광통공(42a)의 안에 위치하는 상태로 광 화이버 보호부재(40)를 플러그 하우징(20)에 배치하였다.

제1도는 본 발명의 광 컨넥터의 제1실시예를 도시하는 분해 사시도, 제2도는 제1도의 광 컨넥터의 조립한 상태를 도시하는 단면도, 제3도는 제1하우징과 제2하우징이 전혀 감합되지 않은 상태로 도시하는 부분 확대도.

Claims (13)

  1. 감합방향에 따라 내벽면에 돌기가 형성된 凹형의 감합부를 가지며, 광 화이버를 상기 감합방향에 따라 상기 凹형의 감합부내에 삽입된 상태로 지지하는 제1화우징과, 상기 광화이버가 관통하는 관통공이 형성된 기부 및 그 기부로부터 상기 감합방향으로 연장되어 상기 돌기와 계합하는 적어도 한개의 레그를 가지며, 상기 凹형 감합부내를 상기 감합방향으로 진퇴하는 광 화이버 보호부재와, 상기 감합방향에 따라 외벽면에 압압돌기가 형성된, 상기 凹형 감합부와 감합하는 凸형 감압부를 가지며, 상기 광 화이버와 접속되는 광소자를 지지하는 제2하우징을 갖고 있으며, 상기 제1 및 제2하우징끼리 감합되지 않은 상태일때, 상기 레그와 상기 돌기가 계합하므로서 상기 광 화이버의 선단이 상기 관통공내에 위치하는 상태로 상기 광 화이버 보호부재가 상기 제1하우징에 배치되고, 상기 제1 및 제2하우징끼리 감합할때는, 상기 凹형 감합부와 상기 凹형 감합부를 감합시키므로서 상기 압압돌기가 상기 레그를 휘게하여 이 레그와 상기 돌기와의 계합을 해제하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 컨넥터.
  2. 상기 광 화이버 보호부재가 상기 기부에서 상기 레그와는 반대방향으로 연장하는 안내 로드를 갖고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 제1항의 광 컨넥터.
  3. 상기 레그가, 서로 인접해 있으면서 대칭형상으로 형성된 한쌍의 L자형 레그인 것을 특징으로 하는 제1항 또는 제2항의 광 컨넥터.
  4. 상기 압압돌기가, 상기 감합방향 및 그 반대방향으로 돌출하는 돌출부를 가지는 거의 사각형으로 형성되고, 상기 제1 및 제2하우징을 서로 이탈시킬때, 상기 압압돌기 및 상기 레그와 계합에 의해 상기 광 화이버 보호부재를 원위치로 복귀시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 제3항의 광 컨넥터.
  5. 상기 제1하우징의 상기 내벽면에, 상기 화이버 보호부재를 빼내서 고정하는 제2돌기를 갖춘 것을 특징으로 하는 제1항 또는 제4항의 광 컨넥터.
  6. 상기 제1하우징의 상기 내벽면에 제3돌기를 갖추고, 상기 광 화이버 보호부재에 그 기부로부터 상기 레그와 같은 방향으로 뻗는 ⊃자형 레그를 가지며, 상기 제1 및 제2하우징이 감합할때, 상기 레그 및 상기 돌기의 계합을 해재한 후, 상기 제3돌기 및 상기 ⊃자형 레그와 계합에 의해 상기 광 화이버 보호부재의 후퇴를 일시적으로 정지시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 제5항의 광 컨넥터.
  7. 광 화이버에 접속되는 광소자를 지지하는 상대방의 하우징과 감합하는 광 컨넥터용 하우징에 있어, 감합방향에 따라 내벽면에 돌기가 형성된 凹형의 감합부를 가지며, 상기 광화이버를 상기 감합방향에 따라 이 凹형 감합부내에 삽입된 상태를 유지하고, 상기 광 화이버가 관통하는 관통공이 형성된 기부와, 이 기부로부터 상기 감합방향으로 뻗어 상기 돌기와 계합하는 적어도 한개의 레그를 가지며, 상기 凹형 감합부내를 상기 감합방향으로 진퇴하는 광 화이버 보호부재를 갖추고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
  8. 상기 광 화이버 보호부재가 상기 기부에서 상기 레그와는 반대방향으로 뻗는 안내 로드를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 제7항의 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
  9. 상기 레그가, 서로 인접해 있고 대칭형상으로 형성된 한쌍의 L자형 레그인 것을 특징으로 하는 제7항 또는 제8항의 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
  10. 상기 내벽면에, 상기 광 화이버 보호부재를 빼내서 멈추게 하는 제2돌기를 갖춘 것을 특징으로 하는 제7항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항의 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
  11. 상기 내벽면에, 제3돌기를 갖추고, 상기 광 화이버 보호부재에, 그 기부에서 상기 레그와 같은 방향으로 뻗은 ⊃자형의 레그를 갖춘 것을 특징으로 하는 제10항의 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
  12. 광 화이버를 지지하는 상대방의 하우징과 감합하는, 광 컨넥터 하우징에 있어서, 감합방향에 따라 외벽면에 압압돌기가 형성되고, 상기 상대방 하우징에 삽입되는 凸형 감합부를 가지며, 광 화이버와 접속되는 광소자를 지지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
  13. 상기 압압돌기가, 상기 감합방향 및 그 반대방향으로 돌출하는 돌출부를 가지는 거의 4각형으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제12항의 광 컨넥터용 하우징.
