Abstract

본 발명은 핏치에 황을 첨가하여 탄화수율을 높인 매트릭스 원료를 사용함으로서 고밀도 탄소섬유강화 탄소 복합재의 제조방법을 제공함에 그 목적이 있다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 핏치를 이용한 탄소섬유강화 탄소복합재의 제조방법에 있어서, 핏치에 20중량% 미만의 황을 첨가한 혼합물을 탄소섬유에 용융함침시킨 후, 상기 용융 함침된 탄소섬유를 불활성분 위기하에서 250-600℃의 온도로 0.5-8시간 동안 열처리한 다음, 통상의 방법으로 가압성형하고, 상기 가압상태를 유지하면서 탄화처리함을 특징으로 하는 고밀도 탄소섬유강화 탄소복합재의 제조방법을 그 요지로 하고 있으며, 이러한 본 발명의 제조방법은 항공재료, 기계용 소재로 사용할 수 있는 고밀도 탄소섬유강화 탄소복합재를 제공하는 효과가 있는 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 핏치를 이용한 탄소섬유강화 탄소복합재의 제조방법에 있어서, 핏치에 20중량% 미만의 황을 첨가한 혼합물을 탄소섬유에 용융 함침시킨 후, 상기 용융함침된 탄소섬유를 불활성 분위기에서 250-600℃의 온도로 0.5-8시간 동안 열처리한 다음, 통상의 방법으로 가압성형하고, 상기 가압상태를 유지하면서 탄화처리함을 특징으로 하는 고밀도 탄소섬유강화 탄소 복합재의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 핏치의 연화점이 50-150℃의 온도범위인 핏치를 사용함을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 핏치가 300㎛이하인 분말임을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 용융함침이 핏치의 연화점보다 50-100℃ 높은 온도범위에서 실시함을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 탄화처리가 500℃ 이상의 온도에서 실시함을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
