Abstract
본 발명은 탄소섬유 강화재와 핏치를 이용한 고밀도 탄소섬유강화 탄소복합재 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 핏치에 황 2~20중량% 및 코크스 2~25중량%를 첨가한 다음 탄소섬유와 혼합한 후, 열처리 함으로써, 매트릭스 원료의 탄화수율을 증대시키고 또한 가압성형후에는 탄화과정에서 복합재를 가압상태로 유지하여 매트릭스 원료를 충분히 고화시킬으로써 복합재의 변형을 방지하는데 그 특징이 있는 것이다.
본 발명의 방법에 따라 밀도가 높은 탄소섬유강화 탄소복합재를 제조할 수 있다.

Claims (2)
- 핏치에 핏치 혼합물의 중량기준으로 황 2~20중량% 및 코크스 2~25중량%를 첨가혼합하여 핏치 혼합물을 형성하는 단계; 상기 핏치 혼합물에 전체 혼합물의 체적기준으로 10~70%되게 탄소섬유를 첨가하여 탄소섬유 및 핏치 혼합물을 형성하는 단계 ; 상기 탄소섬유 및 핏치 혼합물을 불활성 분위기하에서 400∼600℃의 온도에서 0.5~8시간 열처리하는 단계; 상기 열처리 후 30∼300kg/cm2압력으로 가압성형하는 단계; 및 상기 가압상태를 유지하면서 500~1000℃로 탄화처리하는 단계; 로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 핏치를 이용한 고밀도 탄소복합재 제조방법.
- 1항에 있어서, 상기 코크스는 입자크기가 100μm 이하인 분말임을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항:최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
