Abstract
본 발명은 라벨의 제조에 유용하며, 또한 올레핀계 염기성 물질과 연질의 극성 첨가제(예 : 에틸렌 비닐 아세테이트(EVA)의 혼합물로 부터 형성되는 압출된 1축 연신 필름에 관한 것으로서, 이들의 물리적 특성은 내마모성을 향상시키는 방향 선택적 방식으로 변화하는 반면, 상기 혼합물에 상용화제 또는 커플링제를 사용하는 경우 정합성을 보전할 수 있으며, 양호한 라벨의 정합성에 요구되는 강성도 및 인장 모듈러스를 비롯한 기계 방향 강도 특성들은 횡 방향 신율을 극히 일부 또는 전혀 저하시키지 않으면서, 그리고 횡 방향 인장 모듈러스를 제한적으로 감소시키면서 증가한다.

Claims (26)
- 올레핀-SPA 혼합물과 상용화제를 함유하되, 약 30 내지 60%의 SPA를 포함하는 하나 이상의 스킨층과, 약 5내지 50%의 SPA를 함유하는 비교적 두꺼운 코어층을 포함하는 2내지 9의 연신비로 1축 연신된 압출-캐스트 다층 필름과, 라벨을 기재에 접착시키기 위해 상기 필름에 결합된 접착재층으로된 다이-절단 중합체성 라벨.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코어층이 상용화제를 추가로 함유하는 중합체성 라벨.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 올레핀-SPA 혼합물층의 연질의 극성 첨가제가 EVA인 중합체성 라벨.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 혼합물중의 올레핀이 프로필렌 동족 중합체 또는 폴리프로필렌-폴리에틸렌 공중합체 또는 10% 이하의 에틸렌 함량을 갖는 중합체 혼합물을 포함하는 군에서 선택되는 중합체성 라벨.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 혼합물중의 상기 올레핀의 에틸렌 함량이 5% 이하인 중합체성 라벨.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 코어층이 약 5내지 15%의 EVA를 함유하고, 상기 스킨층과 코어층의 전체 두께가 약 3mil이인 중합체성 라벨.

- 이산화티타늄 무광택제와 같은 층전제의 존재 또는 부재하에서 올레핀-SPA혼합물을 가열 및 용융시키는 단게; 상기 용융 혼합물을 압출-캐스팅시켜 층을 갖는 필름을 형성시키는 단계; 및 상기 필름을 고온-연신 및 열처리하여 1축 연신 라벨 필름을 형성시키고, 상기 1축 연신 필름의 기계 방향의 강성도가 최대가 되도록 기계 방향과 횡방향간의 강성도를 다르게 하는 강화 단계를 포함하여, 상기 올레핀-SPA 혼합물로 부터 형성되는 층들을 갖는 연신-필름 다이-절단 라벨을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 방향 선택성적인 상기 강화 단계에서는 CD신율에 거의 영향을 미치지 않거나 또는 필름의 정합성을 떨어뜨리지 않도록 상기 필름을 강화시키는 것을 포함하며, 상기 강화 단계는, 상기 혼합물중의 상용화제와 함께 상기 압출-캐스팅, 고온-연신 및 열처리 단계를 수행하므로써 그 결과 생성된 필름이 (1) 정합성을 유지하도록 하며, (2)상기와 동일한 조건하에서 상대적 비율이 상기와 동일하되, 상기 상용화제는 갖지 않는 상기와 동일한 올레핀-SPA 혼합물중의 상기와 동일한 원료로 부터 형성되는 상기와 동일한 두께를 갖는 비교용 필름 보다 더욱 우수한 내마모성을 갖도록 하는 단계, 및 상기 필름을 절단하여 개개의 라벨을 형성시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로하는 연신-필름 다이-절단 라벨의 제조방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 압출 단계가 약 35내지 60%의 극성 첨가제를 함유하는 상기 스친층을 압출시키기 위한 원료를 선택하는 단계를 포함하여, 상기 형성된 라벨의 면에 해당하는 코어층과 하나 이상의 스킨층을 압출시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 상기 압출 단계가 약 5내지 20%의 극성 첨가제를 함유하는 상기 코어층을 압출시키기 위한 압출 원료를 선택하는 단계를 포함하여, 필름층을 상기 고온-연신이 압출된 라벨 필틈의 전체 두께를 3mil이하로 감소시킬 정도의 두께로 압출시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.

- 하나 이상의 스킨층과 비교적 두꺼운 코어층을 포함하는, 2내지 9외 연신비로 1축 연신된 압출-캐스트 다층 필름으로 된 다이-절단 중합체성 라벨로서, 두께가 3mil 이하이고, 상기 필름의 기계 방향 인장 모듈러스가 190,000 psi 이상이며, 횡 방향 모듈러스가 약 100,000 또는 그 이하인 중합체성 라벨.
- 제23항에 있어서, 상기 필름의 횡 방향 신율이 약 490% 인상인 중합체성 라벨.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 필름의 기계 방향 인장 모듈러스가 약 190,000 psi 이상인 중합체성 라벨.
