Abstract
다양한 형태의 자기 매체로부터 밀도있게 저장된 데이타를 검색하기 위한 장치가 기술된다. 매체(18)은 입력 신호를 제공하기 위해 스캔된다. 입력 신호는 미분, 등화 및 부분 적분을 거쳐 조절된다. 정 및 부 신호 피크 검출기들은 조절된 신호에 접속되고, 임계신호(334)는 측정된 정 및 부 신호 피크들의 평균 또는 중점에 대응하여 발생된다. 출력 신호는 조절된 신호와 임계신호(334)를 비교함으로써 발생된다. 입력 신호의 DC성분은 신호를 피드백하고, 출력 신호의 듀티 사이클에 기초하여 임계 신호(334)를 조정함으로써 계수된다.

- 매체(18) 상에 저장된 데이타를 검색하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 입력 신호를 발생하는 상기 저장된 데이타용 판독기(20); 상기 신호에 접속된 부분 적분기(208); 상기 부분 적분기(208)에 접속된 임계 발생기(236); 상기 부분 적분기(208) 및 상기 임계 발생기(236)에 접속되고, 비교기(306)을 포함하는 데이타 발생기(210); 및 상기 비교기(306)으로부터 상기 임계 발생기(236)까지의 피드백 경로(362)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 검색 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
