Abstract

본 발명은 공침법을 이용한 안정화 지르코니아 분말의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 지르코니아 분의 제조과정은 지르코늄염과 안정화제염을 수산화물 형태로 침전시킨 후 함께 끓는 증류 (azeotropic distillation)법으로 분말입자 사이에 흡착응축된 수분을 제거한 다음 지르코늄을 함유하는 미립자를 유기용매로부터 분리시켜 열처리하는 공정으로 이루어진다. 본 발명의 방법에 의해 제조된 안정화 지르코니아 분말은 분말에 함유된 수분이 완전히 제거됨에 따라 소결체의 치밀화를 이룰 수 있는 이점이 있다.

안정화 지르코니아 분말의 제조방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명의 방법에서 사용되는 함께 끓는증류(azeotropic distillation)장치의 개략구조도, 제2도는 950℃에서 하소된 지르코니아 분말의 평균입자 크기 분포를 나타낸 그래프, 제3도는 지르코니아 분말의 소결온도 변화에 따른 소결밀도의 변화 거동을 나타낸 그래프.

Claims (4)

  1. 수용성인 지르코늄염과 이트륨 또는 세륨을 함유하는 안정화제 염의 수용액을 pH가 일정하게 유지된 암모니아 수용액에 침전시켜 침전물을 수용액으로부터 분리한 다음, 수세하고, 이를 물과 함께 끓는 혼합물을 형성시키는 유기용매에 분산시켜 함께 끓는 증류를 행함으로써 미립자 표면에 흡착 응축된 수분을 제거한 후, 지르코늄을 함유하는 미립자를 유기용매로부터 500∼1200℃의 온도에서 열처리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안정화 지르코니아 분말의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 6∼12의 pH범위에서 침전시키는 것을 특징으로하는 안정화 지르코니아 분말의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 침전완료 후 침전용액을 10분 내지 5시간동안 반응시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 안정화 지르코니아 분말의 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 유기용매는 nㅡ부탄올 또는 톨루엔인 것을 특징으로 하는 안정화 지르코니아 분말의 제조방법.
