Abstract

본 발명의 액정셀 기동 방법은 각 픽셀에 예비 펄스들을 제공하여, 데이타 펄스들에 앞서 소정 전압을 형성하는 것으로 이루어져 있다. 예비펄스들은 픽셀을 최종전위 OV로 내리거나 후속기간 동안의 픽셀 전하와 같은 극성을 지닌 최종 전압으로 픽셀을 충전시킬 수 있다.

Claims (6)

  1. DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법에 있어서, 데이타 펄스가 공급 되기전에 각 픽셀을 소정 전압으로 만드는 것을 특징으로 하는 DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 픽셀들은 라인과 같이 전압 OV로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 픽셀들은 라인과 같이 상기 데이타 펄스와 동일한 극성의 전압으로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 픽셀들은 라인과 같이 최대 전압으로 충전되고, 진폭 변조된 신호 형태인 상기 데이타 펄스들로 최대 양 전압과 최대 음 전압 사이의 전체 전압 스윙을 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 픽셀들은 라인과 같이 최대 전압으로 충전되고, 상기 데이타 펄스들은 최대 진폭을 가지나 반대 극성인 펄스폭 변조된 펄스들로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이타 펄스들은 인터벌들에서 다수의 연속 펄스들로 구성되고, 상기 인터벌은 DHF나선의 특성 충전 시간과 같거나 더 큰것을 특징으로 하는 DHF형 액정셀을 위한 기동 방법.
