Abstract

동기신호들의 사이에 기수와 우수 데이터가 위치하는 트랙의 ID정보가 그레이 코드로서 기록된 서보 패턴을 가지는 기록매체와, 상기 기록매체의 서보패턴의 영역에 기록된 데이터를 디지탈화하여 엔코드된 데이터(ERD)로 출력하는 데이터 픽업수단과, 상기 데이터 픽업수단으로부터 출력되는 서보패턴의 영역중의 패턴을 검출하여 기준펄스(RP)를 발생하는 패턴검출수단을 구비한 하드디스크 드라이버에 내장된 디스크의 그레이 코드 정보를 디코딩하는 회로를 제공한다. 기준펄스에 의해 그레이 데이터중의 선두 위치에 있는 그레이 동기신호를 검출하기 위한 그레이 동기신호(ISYNC-W)를 발생한다. 그리고, 그레이 동기신호(ISYNC-W)의 구간에 입력되는 그레이 데이터의 천이를 검출하여 선두 위치의 동기신호를 검출하고, 상기 검출된 동기신호의 하강에지에 응답하여 적어도 그레이 데이터의 주기를 가지는 기수, 우수 데이터 윈도우를 순차적으로 발생하고, 상기 우수 데이터 윈도우의 하강에지에 응답하여 다음의 동기신호를 검출하기 위한 순차 그레이 동기 윈도우를 발생한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 동기신호들의 사이에 기수와 우수 데이타가 위치하는 트랙의 ID정보가 그레이 코드로서 기록된 서보 패턴을 가지는 기록매체와, 상기 기록매체의 서보패턴의 영역에 기록된 데이터를 디지탈화하여 엔코드된 데이터(ERD)로 출력하는 데이터 픽업수단과, 상기 데이터 픽업수단으로부터 출력되는 서보패턴의 영역중의 패턴을 검출하여 기준펄스(RP)를 발생하는 패턴검출수단을 구비한 하드디스크 드라이버의 그레이 코드 디코딩회로에 있어서, 상기 기준펄스(RP)의 입력에 응답하여 상기 엔코드된 데이타(ERD)를 분주하여 그레이 데이터(GD)로 출력하고, 시스템 클럭을 미리 예정된 값으로 카운팅하여 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W)를 발생하는 그레이 윈도우 발생제어수단과, 상기 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W)의 입력에 응답하여 기수 그레이 데이타와 우수 그레이 데이터를 전송하기 위한 기수 및 우수 데이터 윈도우를 발생함과 동시에 순차 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W)를 발생하고, 데이터 게이트 신호(GDATH)를 출력하는 동기 윈도우 발생 수단과, 상기 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W) 혹은 순차 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W)의 입력에 응답하여 상기 그레이 데이터(GD)중 기수 그레이 동기신호 혹은 우수 그레이 동기신호를 추출하여 상기 동기 윈도우 발생수단으로 공급하고, 상기 발생된 기수 및 우수 데이터 윈도우 신호를 응답하여 상기 그레이 데이터(GD)중 기수 그레이 데이터와 우수 그레이 데이터를 출력하는 그레이 코드 데이터 추출 수단과, 상기 데이터 게이트 신호(GDATH)의 입력에 응답하여 상기 추출된 그레이 데이터를 2진 코드로 변환하는 그레이-2진 변환수단으로 구성함을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이버의 그레이 코드 디코딩회로.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 동기 윈도우 발생 수단은, 상기 그레이 동기신호(ISYNC-W)의 입력에 응답하여 상기 그레이 데이터(GD)의 상승에지를 검출하여 그레이 동기신호를 검출하는 그레이 동기 검출수단과, 상기 그레이 동기신호의 하강에 응답하여 시스템 클럭을 미리 결정된 값을 카운하여 기수 데이터 윈도우신호(ODW)를 발생하는 제1데이터 윈도우 발생수단과, 상기 기수 데이터 윈도우신호(ODW)의 하강에지에 응답하여 시스템 클럭을 미리 결정된 만큼 카운팅하여 우수 데이터 윈도우신호(EDW)를 발생하는 제2데이터 윈도우 발생수단과, 상기 기수 데이터 윈도우신호(ODW)의 하강에지에 응답하여 미리 예정된 수만큼 상기 시스템 클럭을 카운팅하여 순차 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(SYNC-W)를 발생하는 제2그레이 동기 윈도우 발생수단으로 구성함을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이버의 그레이 코드 디코딩회로.
  3. 그레이 코드로서 트랙의 ID정보가 기록된 서보 패턴을 가지는 기록매체와 상기 기록매체의 서보패턴의 영역에 기록된 데이터를 디지탈화하여 엔코드된 데이터(ERD)로 출력하는 데이터 픽업수단과, 상기 데이터 픽업수단으로 부터 출력되는 서부패턴의 영역중의 패턴을 검출하여 기준펄스(RP)를 발생하는 패턴검출수단을 구비한 하드디스크 드라이버의 그레이 코드 디코딩회로에 있어서, 상기 기준펄스(RP)의 입력에 응답하여 상기 엔코드된 데이타(ERD)를 분주하여 그레이 데이터(GD)로 출력하고, 시스템 클럭을 미리 예정된 값으로 카운팅하여 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W)를 발생하는 그레이 윈도우 발생제어수단과, 상기 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(ISYNC-W) 및 순차 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(SYNC-W)의 입력에 응답하여 상기 그레이 데이터(GD)중 그레이 동기신호를 추출하여 출력하는 동기신호 추출수단과, 상기 추출된 그레이 동기신호에 응답하여 기수 그레이 데이터와 우수 그레이 데이터를 전송하는 기수 및 우수 데이터 윈도우를 발생함과 동시에 순차 그레이 동기 윈도우 신호(SYNC-W)를 상기 동기신호 추출수단으로 제공되며, 데이터 게이트 신호(GDATH)를 출력하는 동기 윈도우 발생수단과, 상기 데이터 게이트 신호(GDATH)의 입력에 의해 그레이 코드를 2진코드로 변환하는 그레이-2진 변환수단과, 상기 발생된 기수 및 우수 데이터 윈도우 신호에 응답하여 상기 그레이 데이터(GD)중 기수 그레이 데이터와 우수 그레이 데이터를 상기 그레이-2진변환 수단으로 전송하는 그레이 코드 데이터 전송 수단으로 구성함을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이버의 그레이 코드 디코딩회로.
