Abstract
광 데이타 기억시스템은 다수의 데이타면 매체와 광 헤드를 포함하고 있다. 상기 매체는 광 투과성 매체에 의해 분리되어 있는 다수의 기판을 갖고 있다. 상기 기판표면상에는 데이타면들이 위치되어 있다. 상기 각 데이타면상에는 염료물질층이 증착되어 있으며 이 염료층의 두께에 의해서 각 데이타면의 반사량이 정해진다.

Claims (46)
- 광데이타 기억매체(an optical data storage medium)에 있어서, 기록된 데이타를 기억하며 염료물질층이 증착되어 있는 제1데이타면을 갖는 제1방사 투과성 부재(a first radiation transmissive member)와, 기록된 데이타를 기억하는 제2데이타면을 갖는 제2부재와, 상기 제1데이타면과 제2데이타면을 이격된 상태로 지지하는 수단과, 방사 투광성 매체로서, 이 매체의 제1측으로부터 방출된 방사빔이 상기 제1데이타면 또는 제2데이타면상에 집속될 수 있도록 상기 제1데이타면과 제2데이타면 사이에 위치되어 있는 방사 투과성 매체를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방사 투과성 매체는 공기(air)인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방사 투과성 매체는 고체투명 물질(solid transparent material)인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2데이타면상에는 염료 물질층(a layer of a dye material)이 증착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 에틸-에틸벤죠티아졸리덴-에틸-로다닌 염료(ehyl-ethylbenzothiazolidene-ethyl-rhodanine dye)인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 테트라-아미노-안트라퀴논 염료(tetra-amino-anthraquinone dye)인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 디에틸-엠-아미노-페놀프탈렌 하이드로클로사이드 염료(diethyl-amino-phenolphthalein, hydrochloxide dye)인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 비스(벤제네디티올) 구리 염료[bis(benzenedithiol) copper dye)인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억매체.
- 광 데이타 기억 시스템에 있어서, 방사원(radiation source)과, 기록된 데이타를 기억하며 염료물질층이 증착되어 있는 제1데이타면을 갖는 제1방사 투과성 부재와, 기록된 데이타를 기억하는 제2데이타면을 갖는 제2부재와, 상기 제1데이타면과 제2데이타면을 이격된 상태로 지지하는 수단과, 방사 투과성 매체로서 이 매체의 제1측으로부터 방출된 방사빔이 상기 제1데이타면이나 제2데이타면상에 집속될 수 있도록 상기 제1데이타면과 제2데이타면 사이에 위치되어 있는 방사 투과성 매체를 광매체(optical medium)와, 상기 방사원으로부터 나온 방사빔을 상기 광매체의 데이타면들중 어느 한 데이타면으로 전달하는 광 전송수단(an optical transmission means)와, 상기 광매체로부터 반사된 방사빔을 수신하여 이것에 따라 데이타신호를 공급하는 광 수신수단(an optical reception means)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 방사 투과성 매체는 공기인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 방사 투과성 매체는 고체투명 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 제2데이타면상에는 염료물질층이 증착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 데이타면들은 ROM 데이타면들인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 시아닌 염료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
- 제24항에 있어서, 상기 염료는 스퀘어일륨 염료인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이타 기억시스템.
