Abstract

본 발명은 메탈 마스크와 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 소정의 두께와 형태를 가지며 그 몸체에는 반죽납의 주입을 위한 개구부가 형성되어 있는 메탈 마스크에 있어서, 상기 몸체에는 다수개의 개구부가 형성되어 있고, 상기 개구부들중 소정의 개구부들은 나머지 개구부들보다 그 깊이 및 폭이 상대적으로 작게 형성되어 있는 점에 그 특징이 있다. 이와 같은 마스크는 개구부형성을 에칭이 아닌 전주도금에 의해 형성하므로 그 개구부 단면이 매끄러워 인쇄상태가 양호해질 수 있고, 또한 하프 에칭의 효과를 얻기 위해 마스킹처리를 통한 하프 포밍을 하게되므로 정밀 피치부위나 고밀도실장이 필요한 부분의 인쇄가 가능하므로, 향후 본 발명이 표면실장기술의 메탈 마스크 분야에 적용될 경우 우수한 메탈 마스크 제작으로 인쇄의 질을 더 한층 높이게 된다.

Claims (3)

  1. 소정의 두께와 형태를 가지며 그 몸체에는 반죽납의 주입을 위한 개구부가 형성되어 있는 메탈 마스크에 있어서, 상기 몸체에는 다수개의 개구부가 형성되어 있고, 상기 개구부들중 소정의 개구부들은 나머지 개구부들보다 그 깊이 및 폭이 상대적으로 작게 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 메탈 마스크.
  2. (1) 기판에 드라이 필름을 형성하는 단계; (2) 상기 드라이 필름상에 패터닝된 필름을 부착하고 노광하는 단계; (3) 상기 노광후, 현상액에 의해 현상하는 단계; (4) 상기 현상 후, 1차도금을 하는 단계; (5) 상기 1차도금후, 소정 부위에 마스킹(masking) 처리를 하는 단계; (6) 상기 마스킹 처리 후, 2차도금을 하는 단계; 및 (7) 상기 2차도금 후, 기판으로부터 도금층을 분리하고, 드라이 필름을 용해액에 의해 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 메탈 마스크의 제조방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 1차 및 2차 도금은 음극에 도금물체를 달아 회전시키는 회전방식을 사용하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 메탈 마스크의 제조방법.
