Abstract

OHP 및 모니터 양쪽에 사용하는 디스플레이 장치를 제공하여 경제성을 향상시킨다.
표시 광체(1)내에 2장의 액정 패널(2, 4) 및 양 패널(2, 4) 사이에 형광 램프(5)를 구비한 구조이다. 이로써, OHP에 사용하는 경우는 패널(2)를 투과 상태로 설정해서 OHP 광원(6)으로부터의 광을 투과시켜서 패널(4)에 조사하고, 스크린에 화면을 확대 촬영한다. 모니터에 사용하는 경우는 패널(2)를 차광 상태로 설정해서 형광 램프(5)로부터의 광을 확산 반사시켜서 패널(4)로 조사하고, 직시 화상을 제공한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 표시 화소마다 전압을 인가해서 액정을 경사시킴으로써 투과광을 조절하여 표시를 제공하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서, 표시 광체 내에 소정의 전극을 갖는 2장의 기판 간에 액정 또는 액정을 함유하는 층을 끼워 구성된 제1 및 제2의 액정 패널이 서로 평행하게 배치되고, 상기 2장의 액정 패널 간에 조명 수단이 설치되며, 상기 2장의 액정 패널은 별도로 구동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2의 액정 패널은 동일한 구조인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
  3. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 상기 제1액정 패널은 상기 제2 액정 패널에 의한 표시 화면의 표시 영역을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
